AMD's Zen 5 desktop processors may be announced as soon as April, but there could be a long wait before 3D V-Cache variants arrive. AMD Ryzen 9000 series chips are expected to feature Zen 5 cores, use the AM5 socket, and be compatible with existing 600-series motherboards. The X3D (3D V-Cache-toting) models, however, will not arrive until early 2025, according to leaker Kepler on X.
