Ford is recalling over 1.8 million Explorer SUVs due to a safety hazard involving the A-pillar trim retention clips, which connect to the front windshield. The metal pieces may not be properly hooked during assembly, allowing the trim to detach. Dealers will inspect and replace the A-pillar trim free of charge.
