New high-tech security area to open at Denver International Airport next month.

Denver International Airport has unveiled its West Security Checkpoint, a 17-lane facility designed by TSA to streamline the security process. The checkpoint features facial recognition scans for boarding passes and Colorado Digital IDs on phones for IDs. Passengers can load their bags into TSA bins, which replenish themselves. CT scanners in the area can take 3D images of bag contents, eliminating the need to remove larger electronics.
