17 years after leaving EastEnders, actor James Alexandrou, who portrayed Martin Fowler, returns, this time in the role of shadow director.
James Alexandrou, who played Martin Fowler on the EastEnders from 1996 to 2007, has announced his return to the show 17 years after his exit. However, instead of returning as an actor, he has taken on a behind-the-scenes role as a shadow director. Alexandrou followed director James Bye, who currently portrays the Martin Fowler character, on set.
