Chicago Cubs legend Ryne Sandberg announced on Monday that he has been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer and has begun treatment. The Hall of Fame second baseman spent 15 out of his 16 major league seasons with the Cubs and has started treatment. Surrounded by his loving wife, family, friends, and the best medical care team, Sandberg plans to fight the disease with a positive and strong attitude.
