During a Serie A match, AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan left the field due to racist taunts from Udinese supporters. This led to a brief suspension of play during the first half of the match. Before, Maignan had spoken with the referee about the monkey chants; the player has been outspoken about having been the target of previous racist behavior. Five minutes or so later, Maignan and his teammates were back in the game.
