Gilgo Beach murder suspect faces fourth charge A Long Island architect, Rex Heuermann, has been charged with the death of a fourth woman in relation to the Gilgo Beach murders. He is already accused of killing three women in what is known as the Gilgo Beach murders. The authorities found human remains in the scrub along a barrier island parkway in the vicinity of Gilgo Beach in 2010, and most of these killings remain unsolved.
