After a Dakar crash, Spanish rider Falcon passes away.
Spanish rider Carles Falcon died on January 15 from injuries he received in an accident during the Saudi Arabian Dakar Rally. The 45-year-old, who was taking part in the event for the second time, was involved in an accident that resulted in multiple fractures and cerebral edema. Falcon was airlifted to the hospital and given immediate medical attention, but he died from his wounds. His death was confirmed by the TwinTrail Racing Team, who also said that the irreversible neurological damage resulting from the cardiorespiratory arrest at the time of the accident was caused.
