Iran's Revolutionary Guards have claimed responsibility for attacks on "espionage centers" in Iraq's Erbil, according to Iranian state media. The strikes, which reportedly did not affect any US facilities, were cited as a response to recent terrorist attacks in Iran. Explosions were heard around 40 kilometers northeast of Erbil, near the US consulate and civilian residences.
