The Miami New Times reported that the South Beach Party will not take place this year due to recent ordinances restricting beach activities.
The death of an unidentified man in Melbourne's northeast is being investigated by Victoria Police as a possible murder. The man was found on Eildon Street in Doncaster and died at the scene. Police believe the man had been a victim of an aggravated burglary on Sargent Street shortly before his discovery. A Homicide Squad investigation is underway and no arrests have been made. It is still unclear whether the victim knew his attacker and if the aggravated burglary was a targeted event.
