Kelly-Moore Paints suspends operations and shuts down all stores.
Kelly-Moore Paints, founded in 1946, has closed all its stores in the Bay Area due to a lack of cash infusion to address asbestos claims. The closure affects 61 locations, including San Jose, San Francisco, and Santa Rosa. All facilities, except for a distribution center in Union City, will be permanently closed, except for a Texas manufacturing facility and retail stores.
