Alex Willness has been sentenced to five years in prison for the death of off-duty Abbotsford police officer Const.

A British Columbia man, Alex Willness, has been sentenced to five years in prison for manslaughter in the death of Const. Allan Young, an off-duty police officer. Willness received 405 days' credit for his time in custody before his sentence, and was ordered to serve the remaining four years. Young, who moved to Canada in 1997, had previously served with the Toronto Police Service.
