Anaheim Ducks acquire prospect Cutter Gauthier from Flyers in exchange for Jamie Drysdale and a 2nd-round pick.

The Anaheim Ducks have traded defenseman Jamie Drysdale and a second-round pick in 2025 to the Philadelphia Flyers for high-scoring college left wing Cutter Gauthier. The move was triggered by Gauthier's refusal to sign with Philadelphia, as he refused to sign, train, or communicate with the Flyers. Flyers general manager Danny Briere said the trade was a long-awaited decision, as Gauthier had refused to meet with Briere and Flyers President of Hockey Operations Keith Jones.
