The world's first inverted rollercoaster has been revamped and renamed Nemesis.

Alton Towers has unveiled the first look at its revamped Nemesis rollercoaster ahead of its reopening. The entire 250-tonne, 716-metre-long track has been replaced, and the ride's theme has been updated to feature a terrifying creature with a blazing red eye, razor-sharp teeth, and tentacles. Originally opened in 1994, Nemesis was Europe's first inverted rollercoaster and has since gained a cult following among thrillseekers.
