United Airlines has temporarily grounded all Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft to run inspections.

United Airlines has temporarily suspended service on all Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft to run inspections required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA ordered the temporary grounding of some Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft operated by U.S. airlines or in U.S. territory following a serious mid-air incident on Friday when a part of a Boeing 737 MAX 9 fuselage blew out on an Alaska Airlines flight. The inspections will take around four to eight hours per aircraft.
