The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) reported that no passengers were seated near the Boeing 737 MAX 9 fuselage that failed, leading to an emergency landing on Friday. Alaska Airlines flight, with 171 passengers and six crew members on board, had to turn back after a piece of fuselage tore off the left side of the jet during takeoff from Portland, Oregon.
