A massive earthquake in central Japan's Ishikawa caused damage and disruptions.
Strong earthquakes hit Japan's western coast, damaging multiple roads and houses. The earthquakes, with major ones up to 7.6 magnitude, have affected a wide area on the Sea of Japan coast. Local authorities reported multiple house collapses in the Noto region and Hakui city, and 32,500 households experienced power outages. Video footage showed rocking temblors on train platforms and coaches in Kanazawa City.
