On the first day of 2024, couples across the globe welcomed their newborn babies into the world. Egyptian couple, Asmaa Issam Moustafa and Ibrahim Metawe, had their second child, weighing 3.23 kg at Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi. Similarly, Emirati-Syrian couple, Mohammed Khamis Alswaidi and Shereen Mohammed, welcomed their baby boy, Zayed, at Burjeel Hospital in Dhabi. In the United States, a Phoenix couple welcomed their first child, Maveric, just minutes into the new year at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. Additionally, mums in Western Cape, South Africa celebrated the arrival of 38 babies on the first day of the year.
