HBO's new Harry Potter TV series has seen over 32,000 children audition for the roles of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Showrunner Francesca Gardiner and director Mark Mylod aim for a "very specifically British 1990s" production, with filming set for summer 2025 at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden. Mark Rylance is reportedly close to signing on as Albus Dumbledore, while the search for the young leads continues.
